Welcome to the Final Week
Welcome to the final week of Launch Pad. You've done extraordinary work to get here. The daily quests remain the same as Week 3. This week is about consolidation and launch.
This Week's Mantra
"The root of all suffering and attachments is within ourselves. The unwise mistakenly believe that suffering and attachments come from the outside. Our attempts to find happiness and freedom by visiting various places and meeting different people are to no avail because happiness and freedom can never be found outside of our minds. No matter what kinds of problems we may have, if we reflect deeply, we realize that the root of our afflictions is within us and that the mind itself is empty. With this realization, all of our suffering and attachments disappear right away."
This is the longest mantra. Read it three times every morning. Let it sink in. By this point in the program, you have the inner experience to understand what this passage means; not intellectually, but through your own practice.
Week 4 Daily Quests
The daily quests remain the same 6 quests from Week 3. By now they should feel less like assignments and more like your daily practice.
Special Assignments
This week has two special assignments on top of the daily quests:
1. Write Your Pinned Post
Your pinned post is your manifesto. It's the first thing people see when they visit your profile. It tells the world: this is who I am, this is what I do, this is why I do it.
Use everything you've built over the past 3 weeks: your heart-based writing practice, your North Star (the Four Noble Truths offer path), and your authentic voice. Write it from your heart, not from a template.
Your pinned post should answer three questions: What do you do? Who do you do it for? Why does it matter to you?
2. Create Your Subreddit
You've been participating in other communities for 3 weeks. Now it's time to create your own space. Your subreddit is your home base on Reddit; a place where your people can find you, where you control the conversation, where your content lives.
Don't overthink it. Start with a name, a description, and your pinned post. You can refine everything over time. The important thing is to launch it.
This is why it's called Launch Pad. Everything you've done for the past 4 weeks has been building toward this moment: the confidence and the practice to launch something of your own. Now go launch it.
